We use only what we need
Rentu uses only the cookies required to operate the service, plus cookieless analytics. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required under our current setup.
Cookies we set

Analytics
Our analytics are cookieless. We measure aggregate page views and usage trends without storing a cookie on your device and without tracking you across other sites. See our Privacy Policy for how we use this data.
Third-party features
A few features rely on third parties. To be transparent about what they do:
- Maps (Mapbox).When a report map loads, Mapbox renders it in your browser. Mapbox does not set cookies for this; it stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage and sends anonymised usage telemetry to its own servers to run the map. This is not advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Google sign-in (OAuth).If you choose “Sign in with Google,” Google may set its own cookies on Google's domains to complete the sign-in you requested. Those are Google's cookies, governed by Google's policies; Rentu does not set them on rentu.xyz and they are not used to track you here.
What we do not use

Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out. Blocking the rentu_r cookie means your free-report usage count resets each time you clear it.
