Refund & Cancellation Policy

The short version
Cancel anytime. No refund for the period you've already paid. You keep access until that period ends, then nothing further is charged.
Refunds
Rentu subscriptions are prepaid. When you subscribe, you pay for the current billing period (monthly or annual) upfront. We do not issue refunds for the current period once payment has been processed — this is standard for digital SaaS subscriptions.
Exceptions. If you believe a charge was made in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a technical fault on our end), contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@rentu.xyz and we will investigate and issue a refund if the error is confirmed.
Stripe handles all payment processing. If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account while the dispute is resolved.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Plan & usage → Manage plan.
When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period.
- You retain access to all paid features until the period you have already paid for expires.
- After the period ends, your account moves to the Free tier (3 reports/month).
- Your reports, saved data, and account remain intact — we do not delete anything on cancellation.
Downgrading
Downgrading from Pro to Plus, or from Plus to Free, takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You are not charged a prorated amount for the difference. If you downgrade from annual to monthly, the change takes effect at your next annual renewal date.
Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are billed once per year. The same no-refund policy applies — we do not issue partial refunds for unused months if you cancel an annual plan early. You retain access until your annual period expires.
Free tier
The free tier has no cost and no cancellation needed. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account.
